Manager Cecil Cooper has named starting pitcher Roy Oswalt the opening day starter. Of course every Astros fan out there expected this move to be made. Oswalt is a work horse for the Astros and pretty much the face of team right now.
The big question with Oswalt heading into the season is if he can stay healthy all year long. If he does, then I think the Astros have a great shot at making a playoff run especially in the National League Central. With the addition of Miguel Tejada, I really like their chances.
