The Houston Astros have sent down seven players to the teams minor league camp.
Mike DeJean, Carlos Hines, Stephen Randolph, Alberto Castillo, J.R. House, Victor Diaz, and Nick Gorneault were all sent down crashing their hopes of making the big league roster out of spring training.
The Astros also optioned Mark McLemore to Triple-A Little Rock.
